Description
What: Changing grass cutting regimes decrease carbon emissions and increase biodiversity and habitat.
How: Fewer grass cuts mean less caron emissions from the machinery used to cut the grass.

Further Information: KGV Extension Field is an intermittent wetland habitat. It's often waterlogged in the winter but dries out in the Summer. This is an important habitat for invertebrates and also wildflowers. NTC manage the land as a meadow and cut and remove the grass each year since 2016.
