Status: Running
Description
What: We follow the Repair, Reuse, Recycle principle by fixing, mending, upcycling, selling on and supporting the local community by providing a low cost, friendly service.
How: We avoid items going to landfill and encourage the community to reuse rather than buying new. Spare materials such as fabric and wood are used to create useful new items
Direct Carbon Saving: 10 kgCO2e/yr
Further Information: Since we established our organisation, our volunteers have mended 1000s of items using their skills and experience . 1000s of unwanted items have been checked and sold on to the community at low prices, so avoiding landfill.
